Ronald Neal, MD
Ronald Neal, MD received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dr. Neal completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecologist and is a member of the New Jersey State Medical Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
In addition to his many years of experience delivering babies and dealing with a wide variety of other female issues, Dr. Neal is trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery using the da Vinci robot system which enables him to preform minimally invasive surgery including hysterectomies and the removal of uterine fibroids and ovarian tumors.
One particular aspect of medicine which Dr. Neal enjoys is the holistic, or natural, approach to patient care. Rather than prescribe medications which may often have ill side effect, Dr. Neal often will recommend other modalities for a given problem or illness. Some of these may include herbal remedies, vitamin supplements, bio-identical hormones and change in life-style and diet. Dr. Neal is most happy to sit down with his patients and discuss their issues in a way that they will feel most comfortable.
